Isaac Newman is an industry leader and sought-after expert on healthcare operations, with more than a decade of experience in the long-term care facility and home healthcare fields.

Isaac oversees companies providing ancillary medical services to more than 450 healthcare facilities. Isaac has cultivated a strong team of medical, operational and client service professionals. His leadership inspires each team member to provide the highest level of care and service.

Isaac’s keen understanding of industry nuances, including regulatory reporting requirements, allows him to identify the best strategy for each client’s unique needs. His forward-thinking approach keeps Specialty Care Group at the forefront of the long-term care field. Clients turn to Isaac for strategic, innovative solutions to drive results and meet their operational goals.

Before forming Specialty Care Group, Isaac was the chief operating officer of MetroStar Home Health Products, where he launched and implemented ventures to diversify and expand revenue. He also served as director of business development for Citywide Mobile Response, a New York–based ambulance service.

Isaac studied marketing at the City University of New York (CUNY) Brooklyn College and business at Kingsborough Community College. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Medical Director

Dr. Steven Guttmann directs Specialty Care Group’s gastroenterology and internal medicine teams of physicians, nurses, and staff. He has more than a decade of experience in his field.

Dr. Guttmann earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York, and earned his M.D. at Sackler School of Medicine, New York. Following a term as chief medical resident at Maimonides Medical Center, he completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the same institution.

Board certified in both gastroenterology and internal medicine, Dr. Guttmann holds procedural certifications in colonoscopy, endoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). He previously served as Director of Endoscopy at Forest Hills Hospital.

In addition to his direct patient care, Dr. Guttmann serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. He has a special interest in clinical safety in geriatric and centenarian populations and has several published works detailing his research in this field.
